Kudos: Two LCS staff members step in to help ailing co-worker

Life, most of the time, is very unpredictable. As educators, we know when the doors open, classes start and when the lunch bell rings, but we never know when we’ll be called upon to step up and help someone in need.

Recently, when one of our district’s great teachers, Chad Kenny, fell seriously ill, a couple of our district’s technology coaches sprang into action. No one knew for certain if Chad’s illness, which put him in the hospital, would keep him out of the classroom for a long period of time, but two men quickly came to lend a helping hand for the benefit of students.

Mayfield Principal Traci Chouinard praised the efforts of Tom McEachern and Steve Larzelere-Kellermann, who stepped up to complete substitute plans for Chad. Traci said the pair did a wonderful job and staff and students were very grateful for the help.

Kudos to Tom and Steve for a job well done!
